اما با وجود این خدمت بزرگی که سهروردی با طرح عالم مثال منفصل در ارتباط با معتقدات دینی در دین اسلام، انجام داده است، (تا آن حد که به احتمال زیاد اگر او این ابتکار را به خرج نمیداد، مسئلهای همچون معاد و بهشت و دوزخ جزء مسائل چالشانگیز و لاینحل در فلسفه باقی میماند) اشکالی بس مهم در کار او وجود دارد که مخاطب را در این زمینه وادار به انتقاد از او نسبت به نظریه عالم مثال منفصل میکند: تمام سعی او برآن است، که جایگاه تحقّق وعدهها و وعیدها و حشر نفوس را در عالم اشباح مجرّد از ماده، در سیر نزولی این عالم ثابت کند. اما وی میبایست در مجرای قوس صعودی عالم مثال، به اثبات این دسته از اعتقادات دینی میپرداخت که البته پیش از آن، باید به اثبات تجرد قوه خیال در انسان دست میزد و آن را میپذیرفت. در این صورت است که میشد بدون وارد کردن اشکال، سخنان او را در باب اعتقادات دینی و ارتباط آن با عالم مثال منفصل پذیرفت.

Sheikh Shahabuddin Suhravardi has a special place among Islamic philosophers by including the Imaginal world in his special cosmological map. He considers this middle world a valuable achievement. In his opinion, belief in the imaginal world can be the solution to many religious problems that have challenged theologians for centuries. Among the important issues is the issue of resurrection and heaven and hell of the souls. By accepting both types of resurrection, i.e. spiritual resurrection and physical resurrection, regarding the immortality of souls after death, especially in connection with physical resurrection, he believes that most of the souls after disposing of their earthly material body will join an ideal body in the ideal world. After that, they spend either in happiness and pleasure, or in hardship and pain. if Suhrawardi had not taken this initiative and had not included this intermediate world in his special cosmological map, the explanation and justification of the issue of the rebirth of man after death, in other words, his rebirth in the world above the world of matter, as well as other religious beliefs such as The miracles and honors of the prophets, the promises of the prophets, the position of the angels, etc., would have been very difficult. Based on this, the present article, which has been prepared in a descriptive-analytical method, aims to investigate the role and place of the detached Imaginal world in explaining religious beliefs, especially the issue of resurrection and happiness and the soul of human beings in Ishraqi philosophy.
For this reason, accepting both types of resurrection; That is, spiritual resurrection and physical resurrection regarding the immortality of the soul after death by the Sheikh, especially in connection with physical resurrection, is largely due to the proof of the world of a separate example in his illuminative philosophy. In this way, most of the souls, after disposing of the earthly material body, join an ideal form in the world of example, and after that, they are either in happiness and pleasure, or they spend their time in suffering and suffering.
Based on this, the present article, which has been prepared in a descriptive-analytical way, aims to investigate the role and place of the world of a separate example in explaining the issue of resurrection and the happiness and misery of the speaking human soul, which is considered one of the religious beliefs
